It had been some years since I'd actually made anything apart from films and videos. I had to re-learn all the basic skills. I bought a small kiln, through a connection of Leo Brennan, and started making ceramics, which is were I started in 1969.

I made little pots and figures, animals and torsos. I wanted to get physically into the space more so covered a couple of walls with a map of Britain and Ireland, then filled in every road I'd travelled in my nearly ten years as a Tour Director for Globus Gateway. |
